Remember Them? – 8

I thought it would be nice to relive some of the tunes that I for some time had forgotten about but at times in my life meant something to me, they will mainly be the songs and bands that anyone under the age of thirty (Ok forty… who am I kidding!) may never have heard of, if you’re a little older you may just have some memories of your own in amongst the music to follow, there’ll be some rubbish in here but I can promise there’ll be some gems too.

Ray Stevens  a country/pop singer and comedian from America. I don’t know much about Mr Ray Stevens but I do know that in 1974 he released his most successful song called ‘The Streak’ to much hilarity around the country. You could barely walk down the road in 1974 without hearing someone shouting Ethel will you put your clothes on…. It still makes me smile today and brings happy memories of my poor exasperated Grandma having to put up with listening to it several times a day because it made me laugh (I was very young!). Its cheeky, it’s funny, I thought you’d like to have a smile this weekend. Enjoy

Thank to raystevensmusic for the video.
