There is no real reason for this other than the fact that there are just so many books on my reading list that are from publishing houses. I love the usual fare from King, Koontz, Deaver, Barker, Palanuick and tend to only find out about new books from publishing news.

Like many, I don’t want to be the early adopter for a book, only to find out that it has spelling mistakes on every page and was written in a childish way. You know what i’m talking about. Where the author seems to start of with the best intentions but loses interest and tries to finish quickly. Or the story read like a list of descriptive phrases.
