Customers.

Sometimes you get to the point where you think nothing will surprise you anymore when you work in retail.

Today a lovely German lady came into the shop to buy a small item and as we were chatting she said it had been a few years since she had visited Glastonbury beforehand. She emptied her purse onto the counter for me to pick out the coins that I wanted.

This is pretty much what she had in her purse.

The most modern coin in the collection was dated 1960…. no kidding she hadn’t been here for a while. Unfortunately she still had to give me something a little more up to date but it made my day.
