Mushrooms

This is way off topic for me but it was a little information that I picked up that you may or may not be interested in. 

It seems the big health warnings for the past year or so is that none of us take in enough vitamin D. It’s a massively important vitamin and a lack of it is behind many of our health problems. 

One of the natural foods that are high in Vitamin D is mushrooms but when we buy them we put them in the fridge/ cool box  to keep them fresh. WRONG IT DEPLETES THE Vitamin D. Apparently if you put them on your window sill, stalk up, the day light they will absorb the vitamin from the light. They will hold over 500% more vitamin D, so you can ditch the vitamin tablets to get your daily dose.

So I hope you’ll be a little healthier now.
