Let Go

This is part of a 3 word challenge that I like to do, it warms me up so I can get on with my writing of Book 3 (I will give it a title soon). Occasionally I do one that I like, those are the ones I will share with you.

Would you like to have a go? Use these 3 words and link it to my page, have fun.

The 3 words for this are. Evil, Boredom, Stars

Let Go.

Jazz looked out of the the small porthole window and out onto the earth, sure it was beautiful but after twenty three years of viewing it boredom had set in. Jazz wondered if she would ever get back there, did she care? There was nothing for her there anymore.

She had been sent here to tour around space for thirty years, it was the sentence handed down to her for murdering her friend, she hadn’t meant to but the judge wouldn’t listen and told her that she was the most evil of all offenders and would send her to where they send all of their rubbish. Then she had been jettisoned in this tin can into space to drift amongst the stars, she had everything she needed, the judge said it would give her time to reflect.

It had and now she was bored, another seven years and she would plunge to Earth and take her place back amongst her peers. She wasn’t sure she wanted to, maybe there was a better answer. Decision finally made she pulled open the main airlock and let go stepping out into nothing.
