5.0/5.0 Full of tension.
The Things We Leave Behind by Tanya Anne Crosby.
I picked this up free on Kindle, it’s only a short story but for someone who isn’t a fan of the short story this held my attention, it was tense and I was willing Zoe to follow through with her plans. It is the prequel to Tanya Anne Crosby’s new novel, THE GIRL WHO STAYED, it certainly makes me want to get the novel that follows, beautifully written and a pleasure to read.
The Blurb –
Zoe Rutherford has come to the end of her rope. Her relationship with Chris has reached the breaking point and it is time to leave. But can she leave? And if she does, what is she willing to leave behind?
