The Greeks gave us the Phoenix, a mythological bird of great beauty a mixture of fire and purple hues. The Phoenix constantly renews itself by being born from the ashes of its former life to be able to live again a new fresh existence. Many civilisations had a similar tale of birds that could return from the ashes. They all knew there was a great lesson to be learnt from the phoenix. Many believe that it is a symbol of the fire created the world and which will eventually engulf it again.
On a happier note, many now see the phoenix as a metaphor for changing your life, a way to put the past behind you and move on to a better way of living. We all have aspects of our past we would like to change or revisit in a better way. We are lucky enough to live in a time where have the ability to do this, to start afresh. If there is something in your life you want to move on from then you should, if you are not burning brightly enough in this life then change it, there is only you that can do it and life is far too short to be unhappy.
Do you want change?
Take a lesson from the Phoenix and burn brightly in your new ventures, rise above the ashes of what has been and fly high in your chosen path.
Above all be happy.
