Its back, no longer will you be laughed at if you are found hugging a tree. It used to be the domain of hippies and alternative gurus. Now, however, it is being sold back to us as a way to relax and connect with nature.
It also has a shiny new name ‘Forest Bathing’ or in it’s native Japanese ‘Shinrin-Yoku’.

Tree bathing! I think I prefer the name Shinrin-Yoku’. but any outdoor or relaxing hobby is good 🙂

Excellent point. My significant other and I try to spend as much time as we can either in the desert or in the mountains and, yes, we’ve been known to hug trees. Thanks for the inspiration.
