3 words – chaos, vase, computer
It is nearly Christmas and Joe still had so much to do, only a few days to go and he had even forgotten to get any Christmas cards and it was too late now to post them anyway. He had walked up to his local church and donated twenty pounds to a children’s charity to alleviate his guilt. On his return he went into a shop managed to get all of the presents he needed, within a few hours he was almost back on track, he returned home much more relaxed than he had started his day.
All he had to do now was wrap the gifts and he was done…
He set up his desk, wrapping paper, scissors and tape to hand and set about his wrapping. It was all going well until the cat got involved, that was when the chaos began. Chunky the cat really wanted to help with the wrapping of a teddy bear whilst simultaneously trying to scratch it’s eyes out. Joe tried to move Chunky but he kept finding his way back, Joe pushed him aside, as he scrambled to get back to teddy’s eyes, he knocked into a large vase of roses, the flowers and the water freely flowed over the teddy, wrapping paper and found its way to the growing pile of gifts. Chunky moved fast enough to ensure he hadn’t even got a drop of it on him. Joe on the other hand tried to catch the vase speading the water even further around the room, from the corner of his eye he noticed with relief that the water had missed his open computer as he made his last attempt at grabbing for the vase. He knocked it but missed catching it, he watched helplessly as the vase flew towards his computer screen, he lurched forward then the world went black…
