Synchronicities are events connected to one another not by strict cause-and-effect, but by what in classical times were known as sympathies, by the belief that an acausal relationship exists between events on the inside and the outside of ourselves, a crosstalk between mind and matter—which is governed by a certain species of attraction.
Jung believed that synchronicities mirror deep psychological processes, carry messages the way dreams do, and take on a meaning and provide guidance to the degree they correspond to emotional states and inner experiences.
So with that in mind, I had talked myself out of writing another book, all the usual reasons, I haven’t got time, I’m not good enough, I have no ideas blah, blah, blah. The decision made I went to work, in a matter of two hours I had discussed, signed and sold 9 physical copies of my books…
Hmmm I think this is a message, the universe is trying to tell me something, so with that in mind, I will continue to turn up at the page and see what happens. Writing will begin in earnest shortly because my head is beginning to flood with ideas and my fingers are itching to get hold of a pen.
Never ever ignore coincidences and synchronicity, it’s the only way the unknown can make itself known, you can fight it all you like but if it’s meant to be it will find you, you just need to keep turning up.
