Oh dear I went to see Mamma Mia 2, what could go wrong, a good sing-a-long with lots of catchy tunes, it was going to be an escape from real life for a couple of hours. For a while it was just that and I relaxed into my cinema seat to enjoy the movie, sloppy, funny and a lot of dodgy singing but it was fun…
Then it happened…
Now I don’t want to give anything away if you haven’t seen it yet, but, I will say take a box, a big box of hankies with you. They got to this song and the floodgates opened, tears were spilling down my face (Yes, I know I’m super emotional at the moment) and I can assure you I wasn’t alone.
So if you haven’t seen it yet, it’s worth it just for this song… just beautiful.
