The House With The Clock In Its Walls. Movie Review.

4.0/5.0 Fun fantasy.

Well worth a watch. Jack Black and Cate Blanchett star in this quirky movie, family friendly although there are some creepy scenes. On the whole a lot of fun and plenty of giggles too. 10 year old Lewis finds himself orphaned and has to live with his uncle (Possibly the coolest uncle ever) he struggles to fit in and has to find his way around his new world. Would you be brave enough to find your own magic?

The Blurb –

Ten-year-old Lewis goes to live with his oddball uncle in a creaky old house that contains a mysterious `tick tock’ noise. He soon learns that Uncle Jonathan and his feisty neighbour, Mrs Zimmerman, are powerful practitioners of the magic arts. When Lewis accidentally awakens the dead, the town’s sleepy facade suddenly springs to life, revealing a secret and dangerous world of witches, warlocks and deadly curses.
