So we were told to expect to wake up to snow on the ground this morning. Snow plough attachments were put on the gritting lorries in anticipation of the coming weather.
I woke up this morning to glorious sunshine and not a sign of the white stuff.
As I walked the Abbey this afternoon there was a flurry then the sun came out and put a stop to it. Even the dogs looked a little confused, chasing snowflakes then rolling in the grass to get some sun on their bellies. Then another flurry and the same happened again. So obviously the sun has a greater plan for the weather and the snow can’t seen to best it. 🤞
So hopefully those snow plough attachments will be coming off the gritting lorries again and spring can come back again very, very soon.
