If you are a fan of American Pie by Don McLean, and who isn’t! this is a great documovie to watch.
This in my opinion is one of the finest albums every made.
This movie however was totally about the one track ‘American Pie’. I had hoped for more info on the other tracks. Still, I was not disappointed.
It will debunk some of the commonly held beliefs about the song. Don McLean finally tells the story of the lyrics as only he can, he takes you through the song line by line.
If this is your thing, you will enjoy this documovie. I saw it at the movies but it should be just as good on the TV, I believe paramount are releasing it soon.
If you get chance to see it I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.
